This is a Imperial display hutch which was manufactured in California in the
1930's. Imperial was a company that basically competed with other companies
such as Monterey, Del Rey ,Rancho etc. furniture companies for that Spanish
Revival look. Imperial was probably the company that had the highest quality
with their furniture made of mahogany with more wrought iron elements. This
hutch is brown stainded with the much desired deep rich red upper back on the
display shelves. Pictures shown are with cabinet on a dolly. There are no casters
or were ever on this cabinet.Great decorator item.
